Inspired by the growing mechanism of the indusium and stalk structure of stinkhorn mushrooms, we aim to create an architectural biomimicry that could be used as portable and self-deployable emergency shelter and other architectural spaces at different scales, such as outdoor safety tent for Covid-19 protection, recyclable exhibition pavilion, etc.
