1 A sample of the Dragon body and fin.

This project aims to recreate the “Dragon Dance” - a traditional Chinese performance where the dancers manipulate a long flexible dragon figure to mimic it movement. We divided our “Dragon” into two parts: the body and the fin. The body is represented by a series of Bezier curves lofted together. The fin is represented by pyrometric cones using two adjacent planes as generators of its base. The size of the fin and the color of the body are determined by the speed of performer’s action.
