Apple has been more than itself as a familiar fruit; it has many meaning and emblematic metaphor in human history. From the Apple of Eden, the symbol of primitive craving, Golden apples in Greek roman mythology, and Newton’s apple finding the law of gravity to Cezanne’s still life painting of apple, each phase of history utilize the meaning of apple to transition to the new era. Similar use of apple can be observed in many fairytales and stories. Even in this contemporary period, Apple company branding their business as a hub of innovation and creativity with their simple apple logo. In this notion, our group attempts to deconstruct physicality and materiality of apple to emphasize its essential meaning and idea behind through this advanced digital technology and representation.
