The inspiration is from form of sea shells. There are researches on mathematical explanations on the shell geometries, because of their beautiful forms and patterns. It is hard to replicate and fabricate such geometries in our real world. However, with the virtual technologies we are able to invent geometries and colors to simulate shell like forms and designs.

Our project SHELL takes two forms of sea shell - spiral and shell. With the spiral form, a "shelter" is fabricated which a person record a spinning motion to wrap the geometry around himself. By pressing the screen of the recording device, the person can control the patterning and radius of the geometry. The seashell form then explores the dynamics of formal diversity which the parameters of the geometry varies.
