Inspired by ribbon dance, our group learned choreography for the music video Genghis Khan by Miike Snow. The video told the story of a villain who upon capturing his James-Bond-esque opponent, feels conflicted by a growing love for his foe. In the solo scene, he flails violently, fighting his emotions, but towards the end, the two come together in dance. Our primary model shows the duo scene, with one controller in the hand of the villain (depicted in red) and the other in the hand of the spy (depicted in blue). Ribbons trail between points showing their spinning, jumping, and dancing. The final model shows the two ribbons twirling together, wrapping around each other.
