Climate change is signaling us that the world is going to come to an end soon. We cannot avoid it. This earthquake simulator attempts to raise that awareness by visualizing the earthquake as a direct effect from humans.

The Earthquake Simulator responds to your anger level based on the volume of your voice. The louder you yell at the simulator, the higher the earth crumbs reaches, making you more aware of the effect humans have on the earth. The angier, the louder you are, the sooner the world’s going to come to and end.

Undulating plane surface that is subdivided by changeable length and width parameters to form blocks. Random attractor points determine the height of blocks, which are then split into voronois with parameters of scale and count. Using the firefly plugin, the height of the blocks are scaled by the volume of a sound input (voice) and displayed in real time.
