For this project we really wanted to show a metamorphosis of nature into a human-made object using “apple” for the imagery - specifically an apple fruit and an Apple laptop. We felt that looking at two very different looking objects that go by the same name would be interesting. Therefore, we 3D scanned an apple and then found a scan of a laptop online. Then we were able to animate the morphing of the objects from one to the other in chronological order. We applied textures. On one side grass for the “nature” end of the spectrum of the images that looked more like a fruit and then aluminum for the side that looked more like a laptop.
