M[i]ssion Mesh was conducted through a combination of the deformations we could apply to a mesh. To better understand the 3D scan, we emphasized the craters by finding the vertices of the mesh closest to the center of the mesh and growing the mesh around them. We then explored mesh reduction techniques and how some methods operate based on edge length. That led to us discovering how we could manipulate the mesh by controlling the appearance of its faces. We showed this process by making the faces of the mesh appear and disappear according to their size. Along with other manipulations we discovered, our project is a compilation of the different ways we explored our mesh.
