Responsive Roof is a digital model of a ceiling installation that allows users to interact with it through audio and movement. The installation moves in response to the user encouraging a dialogue between the two. The installation also functions as a wayfinding tool. with installation units responding directly to the people underneath, a participant can look to the ceiling for areas with more or less activity to search for spaces with more or less movement. The file uses firefly in grasshopper to communicate in live time via a webcam/microphone.
