Graffiti is a highly controversial art form, considered by many as vandalism and defacement of public property. However, graffiti is undoubtedly an important representation of the energy and creativity found in urban communities. This artistic expression can challenge architectural and urban design in our physical world. With our project, however, we invite individuals to channel their creativity in a virtual realm, exploring the concept of 3D graffiti in space, unlike the conventional 2D canvases in our built environment. In doing so, we not only celebrate and amplify graffiti artist’s artistic voice, but also maintain the integrity of our physical spaces.
