The Butterfly Effect" is an art installation that comes to life through interactive technology. As a person approaches the installation, their proximity is detected by a time-of-flight sensor. This detection sets off the motion of one butterfly which initiates the flapping of the other butterflies. This is achieved by a gear system, powered by precise servo motors. The heart of the installation is an Arduino controller. Each flutter and movement is a testament to the blend of art and technology
