What if you could take home a piece of the Nile? What if you could take home a piece of Thames? What would it look like? This project attempts to look at what makes a river distinct and what basic geometry can be derived from it. We have taken 9 iconic rivers around the world and through simple shape reduction, taken what we feel is a good representation. We aim to show the past present and future of these river beds in relation to climate change and its negative impacts on the environment.
