1 Three assimilated parts

Continuing from our previous project, three creatures—Microlyth, Neurothal, and Wukkira—have entered our human world. These otherworldly beings have embedded themselves within the human form, mutating the body and altering the body in a process of assimilation to survive, merging their essence with ours and creating a new hybrid reality. As the creatures interact with the human form, the body fractures into thousands of pieces before recombining into a singular, mutated entity.

We designed three prosthetic jewelry pieces, each inspired by the characteristics of the creatures that have infiltrated it. These pieces are not only accessories but symbols of the creatures' presence within. Our design process incorporated g-code, Rhino-Grasshopper, and ZBrush to emphasize the organic nature of the prosthetics, mimicking how living forms evolve and shape. We also explored mesh manipulation of the 3D-scanned human face and V-Ray for Grasshopper, a new rendering technique for us, to add depth and realism to our designs.

Through this project, we explore the concept of alien symbiosis, designing prosthetics to represent not only the physical integration of alien forms but also the deeper, transformative relationship between the creatures and humans in this new, hybridized world.
