A hug is a form of endearment, a gesture that expresses more than words can convey- it's an intimate connection that transcends language, embodying comfort, trust, and compassion. At the heart of this project is the idea that love persists despite challenges, imperfections, and changes, embracing the complexity of human relationships. The beauty in love is its embrace where, whether one is far away or going through life changes, whether through misunderstandings and conflicts or through societal pressures, it always prevails. As such we use 3d scanning to manipulate the mesh figures of a 'hug' to express love's resilience in any circumstance.

The mesh of the hugging figures are intentionally altered, stretched, and distorted to symbolize life's stresses and imperfections that can reshape—but never sever—the bond between individuals. This project uses digital transformations to emphasize love as an enduring and dynamic force: one that flexes, adjusts, and evolves while remaining constant. This visual representation encourages viewers to reflect on their own connections and consider how relationships can be sustained through adaptability and acceptance. Ultimately, "Hug" serves as a digital sculpture to the power of love to unite people, regardless of the circumstances, bridging the realms of art, technology, and human connection in an evocative and immersive way.
