1 “Tides of Tears”

This project continues as a sequel of the previous chapter, adopting a more spatial approach by utilizing fragmented geometry and chaotic threads to convey emotions and the journey of tears. We conducted two experiments: The first combines the exploded geometry of a human figure with thread patterns derived from the paths of tears to create an installation. The second employs the same elements to craft a mask for an avatar. Both experiments aim to encapsulate tears in an abstract manner, exploring how emotions and their physical traces can be artistically transformed into tangible forms. Through these innovative installations and designs, we endeavor to challenge and expand the conventional perceptions of emotional expression in art.
